How to get to Son La
There are daily buses departing from Hanoi to Son La, in My Dinh or Luong Yen bus station. It takes around 11 – 12 hours to reach Son La when taking a sleeper bus. Additionally, visitors also can take a Bien Bien Phu bus which has a stop at Son La City if missing the Son La bus.
Motorcycling is recommended for adventurous travellers. It will be a fantastic experience when riding motorbike along the charming roads with fascinating landscape of the north mountainous area. After about 9 – 10 hours conquering more than 300km, travellers will reach Son La City and freely discover the mysteries of the land with the motorbike.
