1. Ta Hien Street

Ta Hien Street is the most famous street in the Hanoi Old Quarter with a line of ancient houses built in French structure. Reaching this street, you will see how it’s special and different from others streets in the Old Quarter area: the 2nd floors of them are still preserved originally while the 1st floors are used to make bar, beer stall, small restaurants, etc … to serve travelers.

Specially, Ta Hien Street is famous with travelers for vivid nightlife where they can find a seat, take a normal bottle of beer or “bia hoi”, relax and enjoy the astonishing atmosphere of Hanoi at night.
 
 

2. Phan Dinh Phung Street

As the street passing the Bac Mon Relic, Phan Dinh Phung Street is well-known for its peaceful beauty, especially in Autumn when the whole street is filled up by the yellow leaves between 2 lines of trees. 3. Hoang Dieu Street

Passing the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Hoang Dieu Street is a little similar to the Phan Dinh Phung Street but longer and brighter. This is also the favourite place where Western visitors love riding bike for sightseeing. 
 
 
Hoang Dieu Street is not only famous for travelers but also familiar with local people. The image of the old playing badminton by the street, some senior men playing chess under the shade of tree and the teenagers being eager to capture together along this street, etc … seems to be indispensable in the daily life of Hanoians.

4. The Pottery & Ceramic Street

The Ceramic Street lasts via 5 streets by the bank of Red River: Nghi Tam, Yen Phu, Tran Nhat Duat, Tran Quang Khai and Tran Khanh Du and is the achievement of 28 contributors, including sculptors, painters, pottery artisans, jounalist, photographer, ...
 
 
What makes this street famous is the 3,85-km wall painting made from pottery and ceramic. The painting tells the viewers about the stories of Vietnam history, mostly the feudalism and history of country in the period of the Kings, the Vietnamese legendary stories and national culture. This street reached the Guinness World Record as the longest ceramic and pottery street in the world.
