Hon Mun
Hon Mun is considered the most charming and beautiful island in the island system of Nha Trang. Hon Mun is in the Southeast of Bong Nguyen Island; about 10 km form Cau Da Port. The name of the island originates from the fact that there are dangerous rocks and cliffs which create caves as black as ebony. That’s why people call it Hon Mun. Hon Mun is assessed as one of the most beautiful aquarium in Southeast Asia Sea.
Hon Mun is compared as a jewel of Nha Trang. Visiting Hon Mun by boat or speedboat, you will not only see the superficial beauty but also have chance to explore the unique charm in the beneath of the sea. In and around the area of Hon Mun, the bottom of the sea is a magical world with marine creatures and colorful coral reefs. In addition to diving to watch coral, you could also admire the beauty of coral or other marine creatures at Hon Mun by traveling by glass-bottom boat.
Hon Mot
Hon Mot is also one of the most beautiful islands in Nha Trang. This is the smallest island in Nha Trang Bay where there are some fishermen living. Hon Mot is located in the southeast of Nha Trang City, about 9km from the shore. Hon Mot is considered a miniature painting of village amongst the immense space of the sea. Visiting Nha Trang, you could make a stop at the “village on the island” to observe the life of fishermen here. In addition, there are many orchards which make you feel like you’re visiting the area of the Mekong Delta.
In Hon Mot, the water level is lower than other areas so you can take a swim, dive to watch coral. In addition to watching coral and colorful schools of fish, you could also take part in some other water sports such as diving, driving water motor or fishing.
Hon Mieu
Hon Mieu Island also known as Bong Nguyen Island or Fish Island is in Nha Trang Bay. It is the most inshore island among islands of Nha Trang. On Hon Mieu Island, there are 2 tourist spots including Tri Nguyen aquarium and Soi Beach – San Beach. The area of Tri Nguyen aquarium is the place to display, store marine creatures and fish in an open model which allows tourists to see.
Located around several hundreds of meters is Soi beach. Here, there is no sand; instead there is only gravels which are smooth and round.
Hon Tre
Hon Tre is the largest island in Nha Trang Bay which is separated from the land. Hon Tre owns the most beautiful natural beaches in Vietnam. Scenery in Hon Tre is quite unspoiled with diverse flora, mild climate, so it is convenient for tourists to visit.
In addition to above famous islands, Nha Trang has other beautiful islands such as Hon Tam, Hon Noi, Hon Ngoai…. You could also pay a visit to these islands to enjoy a complete trip in Nha Trang.
