This city lines along the coast, surrounded by East sea, primary forests and high mountains, with lots of rivers and big ponds, trees and flowers. This city is not only the gift of nature, but also used to be and even now is of an economic importance to foreign trade.
Vung Tau is up to 3 hours to the North of Ho Chi Minh City which can opted for by hydrofoil boat, car, or maybe helicopter if financially affordable. Beach & island:
 
With 42 kilometer of sea line, there are about a dozen of options for marvelous beaches just near the city center.
 
Historic site
 
Battle of Long Tan Cross: This battle was considered of the most famous battle between Australian and Vietnamese. Its memorial cross is still visited by Australian veteran until today.
 
Worldwide Arms Museum: just opned from 2012 but is a must-see museum in Vietnam. Worldwide Arms Museum represents more than 500 human sized dummies cladding in militaries from all over the world 
 
Culture & religion
 
Chris status (Tuong dai Kito giao): Visiting this place requires a bit walking uphil but you will be compliment by the pleasant view. You are allowed to go inside the status and have a see view at the level of Jesus’ hands 
 
Canon shooting festival: is a recreation of Vietnam’s epic history full of war, it is celebrated several times a year as an opening ceremony of important historical events.
 
Đình Thần Thắng Tam Festival: This for-peace festival takes place from 17-20 Feb, lunar calendar. It is held fussily and attracts many local residents despite that all of its taboos.
 
Mieu Ba Ngu Hanh festival: is held on 16,17, 18 October, Lunar calendar annually. It specialities lie in its formal rituals and many traditional games.
