Dong Van Highland
Dong Van is an upland district of Ha Giang, about 146 kilometers from the center of Ha Giang. Dong Van is home to Lung Cu, which is known as the northernmost of Vietnam with charming natural scenery, fruits, and precious herbs… The highlands also attracts tourists for its astonishing weather condition which down to under 10⁰C in the winter and increase to just 24⁰C in the hottest time of the summer.
Lung Cu Flagpole
Belonged to Dong Van District, Lung Cu Flagpole is the mark point of the northernmost of Vietnam. The geopark features a number of wonderful limestones and curving road, as well as 33 tectonics heritages, 45 geomorphology heritages, and many unique fossils of ancient creature species from 400-600 million years ago. Dong Van Old Quarter

Mansion of Vuong Family
Vuong family’s maison is located in XaPhin Village, around 25km from the center of Dong Van District. The edifice is a rare historical site which is the witness of Vietnam architecture dated back to Nguyen Dynasty (1804 - 1839) in Ha Giang. Vuong’s edifice consists of 10 smaller houses made of rare wood in giant sizes and roofed with double tiles. Surrounding the structure are rocky walls that are 60-100 centimeters thick and 3 meters high and many lush green trees. It has been classified as a national relic from 1993 and now has become a must-see destination when travelling to Ha Giang.
Khau Vai Love Market
Khau Vai Love Market is a local market takes place in KhauVai Commune, MeoVac District. It is a unique event in the culture of the local in particular and Vietnam in general. The love market is the traditional fair of Ha Giang’s minorities including H’Mong, Dao, Tay, Nung… In this activity, the locals not only purchase the colorful costumes and handicrafts, they also come to look for the real love in their lifetime. A visit to this unique market will be a fascinating chance for those who would like to understand special customs of Vietnamese ethnics in Ha Giang.
Nho Que River
Nho Que River is not-too-long river flows from Nghiem Son Mount at over 1500m high above the sea level. This is around 46km long, with the upstream stretching more than 5km in the shared border between Vietnam and China, and the rest flows through two Vietnam’s provinces are Ha Giang and Cao Bang. Nam Dan Ancient Rock Field
The whole populations of Nam Dan Rock Field are situated in Tay Dan Mount and Nam Dan Hill, close to the Nam Khoong Stream, which is 1400m above the sea level. The rock field has a large square of nearly 15 hectares, with 8 ancient carved relics, 2 old stones and a number of strange-shaped boulders. This area was discovered in 2004 by experts of Ha Giang’s Institute of Archaeology and museum. According to the scientists, this relic is the typical archaeology dating to about 2000 years ago and very rare in Vietnam.
Quan Ba Twin Mountain
Quan Ba Twin Mountain is located about 40km from Ha Giang town, in the zone of Quan Ba District. The twin mountain looks like two cherries from a distance and it is really a masterpiece of Mother Nature. This mountain also associates with a touching legend that is told by local people generation to generation.

Ma Pi Leng Pass
Ma Pi Leng Pass is a mountain pass which belongs to Ha Giang Province. This pass is well known for its dangerous but wonderful 20-kilometer road at the altitude of over 1500m over the sea level. Over the pass, there is a path called “Happiness Road”, which connects Ha Giang, Dong Van, and Meo Vac, was constructed from the 1960s by the workers who almost are the H’Mong people.
