Driving car from Phan Thiet City about 28km, Hon Rom is one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam with 17km of sand strips around. Perhaps, the grass in this place turns into yellow color in dry seasons, which is similar features as Rom – a local natural material. It is also the origin of the beach.

2. Hon Ghenh
Hon Ghenh is a small island in Mui Ne with the pristine beauty. From Hon Rom beach, Hon Ghenh is a giant turtle emerging on the sea’s surface. The first impression of the island is the purely blue water that we can see the colorful color riffs below sea water surface. Until now, Hon Ghenh is homed to wild plants and birds. Anytime, you can hear the silver tides thrusting into the beautiful rock strips around the islands.
This place is really suitable for discovery and experience. You can go camping at night and go fishing in the morning when visiting this pretty island. In the rock’s crack, there are hai sam, a famous sea creature for Vietnam specialty that you can easily catch.
3. Rang Beach
Along with Hon Rom, Rang beach is also one of the favorite places for swimming and sunbathing in Mui Ne, Phan Thiet. It is said that there are many blocks of coral fossils and underwater rocks on the beach interpersing with sublime golden sand strips. Moreover, Rang beach has beautiful resorts along seaside, which serves for accommodations and foods.
4. Golden Sand Hills
Golden Sand Hills is an abundant source for photographers because of its magnificent beauty. The color of the hills is created by an iron mine, which survived a long time ago. One interesting thing is that the shape of sand hills can change overtime because of the impact of wind. Visitors can enjoy thrilling sport games such as sand sliding or motor race.
5. Phu Qui Island
From Mui Ne, you can hire a ship for visiting Phu Qui, an isolated island in Phan Thiet Province. This destination still remains its wild beauty without the huge impacts of Vietnam industry of tourism. In every morning, you can follow the local people to seafood market along Phu Qui seashore.
