1. Thang Den

Thang Den is a very popular party cake in Ha Giang. It has been mistaken with “banh troi” in the lowlands, but actually, Thang Den is processed in a completely different way. It is made from glutinous flour, sugar and then shaped into balls. When customers order, it is boiled and following covered with a layer of special sugar, coconut and ginger. All the ingredients are suitable to the cool atmosphere in Ha Giang, especially in winter.
 
2. Thang Co
 
Associated to the mountainous culture, Thang Co is also an attractive food for visitors in Ha Giang. Processed from internal organs of buffaloes or cows, Thang Co does not fascinate visitors from the first sight but memorable with gourmets. Additionally, this food is mixed with the traditional local herbs and spice that creates a particular flavour. Afterwards, they are packed into the eryngium for grill. Specially, this is a favourite food of Tay people thanks to its ability of cure. 
 
4. Salad
 
Made from common vegetables like cabbages with sausage, dumpling and other cakes in Ha Giang, this food is now more and more delicious thanks to the skilful locals. Recipes are also simple. After ingredients are processed separately, they are then mixed with a special sauce which creates the unique spicy flavour of the salad.
