Hanoi Weather in February – Useful Information for Travelers

18 October 2015
Please join Hello Vietnam Travel to find out the weather in Hanoi in February!
The Hanoi February – the month of spring – the month of New Year Festival. Why is it the month of Srping? It’s so easy to answer. People all around the world usually consider January the month when the Winter is turned into Spring but in Vietnamese Lunar Calendar, February is exactly the month of New Year Festival and beginning of Spring.

Hanoi weather in this time is quite similar to January: average temperature is about 14°C-21°C or sometimes a little higher, the murky sky and long-lasting drizzle. However, there are some clearly differences in February with light sunshine immersing in the Spring Festival atmosphere.

It’s amazing if you could visit Vietnam’s capital city in this time when Hanoi is going to wear the New-Year coat. Cold climate is replaced by street astonishment, children smiles, love of the couples and the wishes from family, relatives and friends. It’s a pity if you ignore the chance to visit Flower Markets to see the natural beauty of peach, daisy and dahlia mixed with red envelopes sold at the Old Quarter and Vietnamese traditional cakes.

However, the weather is still cold partly in this time. Remember to bring winter garments, umbrellas (in case of rain) and colourful dresses to immerse in Tet Holiday atmosphere with Hanoi!
