1. Thanh Anh Island , Can Gio
Thanh An island commune belongs to Can Gio district, over 50 km from Ho Chi Minh City center to the east and only about 8 km from Can Gio District. There are around 5,000 inhabitants, mainly living by catching seafood and making salt.
Since this island commune is not a tourist destination, so travelling to the island you will immerse in the simple life of people on the island.

2. Tan Thanh Beach, Tien Giang
Tan Thanh Beach is in Go Cong Dong district, 50 km from My Tho city to the east, along Highway 50. This is not an ideal place for beach bathing because of its typical black sand and slurry. But there are plenty of interesting things for short day trips.
If you plan to swim here you probably will be disappointed because the beach ... is black. But it is really one of the most beautiful black sand beaches of Vietnam.
Tan Thanh beach is not gently sloping but flat as the surface of a pond, stretching out over kilometers. You are free to play on the sand, splash sand and water.
3. Phuoc Hai Beach, Vung Tau
If previously visitors coming to Vung Tau are familiar with its beaches, now you have a new choice in Phuoc Hai Beach (Dat Do district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau), where the beach is still pristine with a vast space of white sand, blue ocean, and beautiful rocks.
For years, residents in Phuoc Hai live mainly by fishing and this is one of the oldest fishing villages in the province of Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
4. Long Son Island, Vung Tau
About 100 kilometers from Saigon, Long Son is an island commune of Vung Tau, an interesting ecotourism attraction recently.
For many people, Long Son is probably a rather strange name, but this place has been known as a place for feeding quality oysters. In addition, the land is also famous for its floating villages, natural beauty, and hospitable locals.
5. Thieng Lieng Island, Can Gio
Also belonging to Ho Chi Minh City, Thieng Lieng Island will bring you rarely peaceful moments among bustling pace of life in the city.
The landscapes here are mostly river banks and dense canals, along with forests all over the island.
Besides, visitors coming here also have the opportunity to learn more about salt making, contemplate vast salt fields at Thieng Lieng.
