Located among the poetic landscape of poetic valley, the village is the common home of 61 households living in their traditional houses, some of which have been constructed since 100 years ago. There are 3 minorities inhabiting here: Lo Lo group, H’mong ethnic and Han minority. However, 85% inhabitants are H’mong people who still preserve their own many traditional folk-song, folk-dance and musical instrument. All of them are passed through generations with humanistic and religious significance of locals’ life. An artisan named Mua Van Sau (64 ans) said that: Currently, he still preserved and remembered by heart more than 360 traditional folk-song of his minority which he had been taught when he was a child. The first one he had to learn is “Pa Kenh”, the popular folk-song for the beginner of Khen, a traditional musical instrument.

The road leading to the Lung Cam village is concreted to all households, the irrigation drainage system is guaranteed that creates new face for rural highlands but not influences on village’s ancientness so much. The roofs are overlapped with traditional bricks and stands for nearly 1 century. All building materials are available or produced right here: soil, bricks, woods as well as stone barrier around house. Making-house process of northern highland people in general and here in particular are implemented manually. Once you visit this village, you easily realize that all working tools reflect labour and daily life of inhabitants clearly, which is also interesting exploration for any visitor. Without doubt, that’s reason why many photo hunters and film producers are inspired for new masterpieces, including “Pao's story”, a famous film in Vietnam which received the award of Golden Kite from The Vietnam Cinema Association.

Located at roadside of 4C Road, Lung Cam village is convenient for any visit. Annually, there are numerous inland and abroad visitors coming here to find a little peace for their spirit. The indigenous life is mixed with the breath of nature that makes a friendly ambiance. The colour of trees is interspersed with vivid clothes of ethnic women looking like flourishing flowers among the mountainous area. All of them create the charming picture in Dong Van stone plateau surrounded by impressive cliff which is like a citadel protecting village.
Thanks to the development of economy, the living standard has been upgraded with various valuable economic achievements like planting-rose model. The Authority’s help also makes favourable condition to develop the village more and more in order for it to become an attractive destination, where all adventurous admirers can come and find the hidden fascination.
