Top 6 Things to See and Do in Bach Ma National Park, Hue

Before becoming a national park, the Bach Ma National Park (White-Horse National Park) attracted lot of interest because of the popularity of biodiversity resources of many rare species and plants. For those who prefer to look for the beautiful pristine nature, love the wild, simple, quiet space, the Bach Ma National Park is a treasure.

1. Vong Hai Dai
 
Vong Hai Dai is located at 1.430m altitude on the majestic peaks of Bach Ma. To reach the summit, you will have to conquer the trail Vong Hai Dai, one of the simplest roads in Bach Ma National Park.
 
 
At Vong Hai Dai, you can watch the four sides of the Bach Ma National Park: rolling mountains, Hue city hidden in clouds, Cau Hai lagoon, Canh Duong beach, Lang Co Bay, Truoi Lake... The landscape and mountain, sea, lagoon and winding roads like white silks in the wind, the tiny houses like small brown dots among rolling green jungle... - all looks like a perfect painting that you can enjoy entirety from Vong Hai Dai.
 
2. Do Quyen waterfall
 
The best time to see Do Quyen waterfall is in spring. In about 300m altitude, the falls are beautiful year-round with white water foam. It offers a great view to the rolling hills when looking from above. The reason for the name Do Quyen waterfall is there are lots of rhododendron flowers growing around and generally blooming in March. To be fair, these images cannot describe fully the beauty of flower like when we enjoy then in Bach Ma peak, especially when we enjoy the flowers with a heart.
 
 
3. Ngu Ho
 
With a 30 minute walk, the trail takes you to a series of beautiful poetic waterfalls next to dreamy blue lakes. Five lakes are set includes 5 lakes in 5 different high points in which the third one is the most beautiful, according to several tourists’ comments. The water in the lake is very cool and clear, moreover with a waterfall flowing from above, creating charming scenery.
 
 
Do not forget to bring a camera, for sure that the photos that you take are in the lake will be stunning photos that unlike anywhere else. You can also swim in the lake as much as you like if you are healthy enough to withstand the cool water here.

4. Tri Sao Falls
 
Compared to the Great Lakes trail, Vong Hai Dai trail, Do Quyen Trail, the Tri Sao trail seems to be lesser-mentioned. In fact, Tri Sao trails is also as attractive as others. It’s definitely not a simple trail with smooth paths covered trees along both sides of the aisle, visitors will have to do some hiking to cross mountain slopes or pass through the jungle.
 
 
The ending point of the journey is the Tri Sao Waterfall with water running over stone steps. The break of the water is a clear lake with mossy stones. If you are lucky, you might see some rare Rheinardia ocellata.
 
5. Cho Den Forest
 
Coming to this forest, you will encounter many majestic trees growing close together. There are trees over 1m in diameter and 30m high. White Seraya, or Parashorea stellata is a large forest tree species with straight stem and pyramidal habit. It offers good timber in pink or brown yellowish gray, yellow depending on the soil condition, cross-grained but easily processed. It’s also a very good water-resistant wood, including salt water. In the Cho Den Forest trail until, you can hire guides to use entertainment services like sliding cables or climbing on nets which are tens of meters above the ground. This is the ideal opportunity for you to explore the rainforest in the towering canopy, and take the unique photos in your trips exploring mountains.
 
 
6. Truot Falls
 
Truot waterfall is located in the buffer zone of Bach Ma National Park, at the foot of a 1,500-meter mountain range, among a lush pristine jungle region. It’s called Slide waterfall because there’s a big rock in the heart of the falls, where the water creates a natural water sliding. The perennial thin layer of moss on rocks sticking just serves as greases for the waterslide and also a way to massage for the sliding back above...
