Discovery of the beauty of nature
Cuc Phuong National Park is really a biological treasure of Vietnam nature with a variety of fauna and flora, which stretch around more than 200 hectors. Belonging to tropical area, this destination brings up an abundant species of flora with more than 2200 species, including 443 species for medical and many rare species listed in Vietnamese Red Book. More interestingly, visitors can watch thousand-year old trees in the park such as cho, an old tree with 45m high and a huge perimeter of its trunk.

In terms of fauna, Cuc Phuong National Park has 122 reptile species, 66 species of fish and hundreds of animals, which become a symbol of this site. Besides, the park is also a favorite destination for migrant birds from September to December. Visitors also watch the native birds in the beginning time of a year. So, Cuc Phuong National Park is apparently an ideal destination for birdwatchers.

Cave of prehistoric man
Going trekking through the hiking trails, tourists can visit the cave of prehistoric man. This site used to be the settlement of Vietnamese ancestors thousand years ago, which records an important period of formation and development of Vietnamese community until pristine time.
Cuc Phuong has also some small caverns; each of them hides a unique feature. Trang Khuyet cavern has a gate with the crescent moon shape. Son Cung Cavern owns a system of magic stalactites created from the erosion of limestone millions of years ago.
H’Mong village
Cuc Phuong National Parks is not only a natural reserve in Vietnam but also the settlement of H’Mong people- a Vietnamese ethnic group. If anyone has a passion with zeal of adventure, you can follow the guidance of local people to access the living place of H’Mong people. Walking more than 13km along the hiking trails, you will see that H’Mong village appears with a wild beauty. Buoi River with fresh water sneaks through the old forests and supply water for H’Mong daily life. The stilt house is built with natural materials such as wood, grass… Moreover, you will experience a cultural space of H’Mong people through their daily life, traditional jobs and their special customers…
May Bac Peak (Silver Cloud Peak)
With 648 m in altitude, May Bac Peak open a vast panorama of Cuc Phuong National Park and Hoa Lu ancient capital. From the centre of the park, you have to take 2 hours to access this area.
Yen Quang Lake- Pho Ma Cavern
From the gate of Cuc Phuong National Park about 7km, Yen Quang Lake appears as a poetic picture of natural beauty. All elements of fresh water, flourish forest, and blue sky integrate to each other, which highlight for national park’s beauty.
Walking through a huge valley, tourists can visit Pho Ma Cavern. The Nature creates a magic masterpiece in this carven. Insides, it is divided into different compartments with a system of sublime stalactites. Outsides, there is a stone statue with the appearance of a mandarin in the period of Vietnamese feudalism.
Endangered Primate Rescue Centre
This site is not only a place for researchers and animal protection, but for anyone with desire for discovering the rare primates in Vietnam. Nowadays, the centre is taking care of 15 species of rare primates.
